As I said in an earlier post, movies are often a significant part of most family’s Christmas traditions. All of them contain truth and any truth has its ultimate source in Scripture. While some messages simply perpetuate a commercialization of Christmas, they can be used to illustrate the emptiness of that message. That is to say, the false message helps us see the true message more clearly.

However, there’s one movie that’s pretty clear about the message of Christmas. It’s a message we all need to hear. If we’ve heard it a thousand times, we need to knock off some of its familiarity and listen again. If you’ve never heard it, the message is ultimately the message you’re longing for. Take a few minutes and give it a listen.
